Creative recipe development

Whenever I'm developing a new recipe, my two key aims are to create something that tastes sensational, and is guaranteed to work, whether it's a budget-focussed storecupboard recipe, an easy midweek meal or a gourmet creation. I'm experienced in meeting the needs of my clients, working for different markets.

My food style
As far as home-cooking is concerned, I love to create simple flavoursome food for friends and family – the more the merrier! Even though I have a vast repertoire of my own recipes to refer to, I’m still constantly trying out new ideas, as food never becomes boring.

My passions
Baking is a particular passion of mine, and I’m often to be found experimenting with ways to create lower-fat cakes and other baked delights. I'm also making the most of the literal fruits of my labours; the wonderful home-grown veg and salads from my newly-planted vegetable patch. There's no better way to get in touch with truly seasonal produce than growing your own, whether it's by witnessing the miraculous emergence of new seedlings as they spring forth from the earth, or finding myriad ways to deal with a glut of courgettes or runner beans!
